MAP DATA SETS FOR INDIA

All data sets comply with accepted standards of spatial integrity. Map data sets are available in ESRI, MapInfo and other software formats.

CityMap Series
Street maps of more than 150 cities of India are available. Includes POIs. All city maps are available in WGS 84 and suitable for Location Based Applications.

Special emphasis has been given to creating a series of metropolitan city maps at 1:7500 scale from satellite data and land/POI information added from ground survey.

VillageMap
This map is offered for individual states. All villages for India are linked to Census data. District boundaries, important roads and railway lines are included.

RoadMap of India
This is a the most comprehensive roads data set created for India. All National Highways, Expressways, major roads are marked for the country and form network connection. Vast stretches have been resurveyed. State and district boundaries, important landmarks and habitations are included.

The IndiaMap Series
This series is for entry level users of commercial-off-the-shelf digital map data sets. Each product in this series is a set of map data layers for India linked to attribute data. Available in MapInfo and ArcInfo formats, these data sets are organised on the basis of themes and can be used in association with one another. These data sets have been versioned several times and are very widely used. Data sets are available for the entire nation. Several of the IndiaMap data sets are available for individual states.
